TITLE: Cypripedium calceolus pubescens

TEXT: This is the type plant that grows in this area. Plants from Manitoba, also growing in the garden, have remarkably larger flowers. I chopped the tree down that provided midday shade for this clump and the next year the flowers sunburned. After a move the clump has continued to expand even after I sliced out 10 new starts.
