Aquilegia akitensis (Ranunculaceae) It is here tight against a piece of tufa in Robin Bell's garden. Link Foster in Rock Gardening says it's "a fine Japanese species of about 6" with ample blossoms, purple blue in the sepals and spurs, creamy white in the central petals." |
