TEXT: Briggsia speciosa This was one of the plants that I got from Kaichen last year. I have brought it inside for the winter because I could not find the hardiness rating, or indeed the species name. If I get more plants, I will try it outside. The blooms were a definite blue, very dainty. Briggsia is listed in the Index of Garden Plants, but speciosa is not listed, and the zone given for Briggsia is 8. I am normally in zone 7, but this last winter was something else.
