Cliff Booker, John Dower and Brian Smethurst, together with a number of contributors, have made a great effort to produce one of the finest group magazines and newsletters available in alpine circles. "SNOWMELT" has become  compulsive reading for members of the East Lancs Group and beyond, and the 5th issue has just been published. (See cover - right) The magazine is available from the East Lancs Group and can also be obtained at most of the AGS shows throughout the year. It is hoped that the magazine will soon become available on line once the technology has been perfected but for now, you can take a look at a scanned copy by clicking on the cover photo.
