TEXT: Richea scoparia (EPACRIDACEAE) is an alpine shrub of high rainfall areas it is a Tasmanian endemic and is commonly found in a variety of alpine habitats. Pink, white and red flowering forms are less common. As with most Tasmanian plants it is hardy in zones 7-8. Photo 25/12/98 Cradle Mountain area. Submitted by John Dudley
